Now when a proper teaser trailer is out with plenty of oppurtunities for screen caps, I would love to hear if anyone is planning on doing costumes from Rogue One ahead of the premiere.
The Nordic Base already has a bunch of X-wing costumes ready, and I'm planning on finishing mine very soon. For now that will probably be my contribution to this film.

Re: Rogue One costumes
Jyn Erzo's (Felicity Jones), Cassein Willix's (Diego Luna) and the Asian bounty-hunters' (?) outfits were on display at the Nürnberg Toy fair back in Jan/Feb.
There is a thread on the Replica-Props Forum with some photos from then.
Back in August there was also a highly detailed still with these characters (and other Rebels) standing/sitting in a room.
From what I can see in the trailer, a couple of older outfits have changed somewhat:
X-wing pilots have flightsuits of redder orange fabric that is puffier. Looks like there could be a metal zipper at the bottom of the leg. Ejection straps are more ribbed and seems to be attached with belt loops on the legs of the flightsuits. Belts are beige (like in some exhibitions but never in the movies). Some buckle or greeblie on the gauntlet.
The Rebel officers wear a variation of the ESB/ Hoth uniform with quilted shoulders and red piping.
The pips on the rank badges are recessed: I can see from the side that it is a sandwich of metal-plastic-metal. I would guess that there are only holes in the top layer. The ANH/ESB rank badges were metal plates with round pips on top.

Re: Rogue One costumes
I'm tempted towards making a Jyn costume, based on the final look of her in the trailer. Though would have liked a more closer look of her from the front.

Re: Rogue One costumes
Some UHD screengrabs.
The X-wing pilots flightsuits look like some real-world flightsuits with pockets sewn on, because they are in a slightly different hue than the backing. Helmets, flak vests and chest boxes look unchanged from ANH, but the ring on the top looks like a metal washer and not a painted ring.
The thing on the gauntlets looks like the gauntlet comm pad worn by pilots and officers in ESB but rotated 90°. Time to whip out the old mould.

Re: Rogue One costumes
I think the fleet trooper we see in the trailer is a Military Police. Hence the symbol on the helmet and arm-band.
